Easier to use with more accurate results and record keeping
Measurement of the indentation is via an electronic micrometer giving an instant display of the hardness value - which is simultaneously printed.
If the component tested is part of a batch then the printer will also print comments - whether it is within limits, the hardness scale used, as well as the number of good components in the batch, the number of rejects, the time, the date , the batch number, the batch mean and standard deviation.
The machine is supplied complete with a serial port enabling the test data to be further processed by a remote computer.
