The new Walkabout Scoop Tray is jaw-droppingly clever. It’s a quarter the size of a traditional lab bucket. Making it easy to use under the hood or in tight benchtop spaces. With its proven insulative properties, it keeps your samples and reagents at temperature after removing them from the bead bath, Incubator, Chill Bucket™ or the refrigerator.
The first incubator you carry around with you!
Keep it warm. Things happen when you take your samples, reagents, or cells out of their warm incubating environment and place them onto a cold surface. Why not keep them at temperature while you are setting up your experiment at the bench, under the hood, or while traveling between labs, or where ever you go. This is what the new Walkabout™ Scoop Tray is all about. Just scoop out some warm beads from the Bead Bath, add your samples, and go.
· Working temperature range -196°C to 93°C.
· Durable and lightweight.
· Lid not required.
· Condensation Free.
· Can be cleaned simply hand wash with mild detergent and towel dry. |

Heating/Cooling information : |
Samples stay at temperature 15X longer in a Walkabout. The Walkabout can maintain a 5ml sample at 37°C ±1.3°C for 30 minutes after removing it from a water bath, where as a sample placed in a standard rack will reach 25°C in same time.
Tests based on prewarmed beads of Lab Armor at 37°C were scooped out of the Water bath and placed into Walkabout. From the Water bath a 15ml conical tube with 5ml sample was removed and added to either a Walkabout or test tube rack. The sample temprature was monitored for each over time. |
