The MECV series of vessels is designed for safe containment and removal of suspect objects
possibly containing explosives, toxic or even radiological materials. The MECVs are gas-tight with possibility to sample and clean gases before they are safely released and also decontaminate the chamber prior to opening. The MECVs are designed to withstand repetitive detonations up to the maximum amount of explosives specified.
The MECV-A series are specially designed to meet the security demands of airports world wide.DYNASAFE offers containment chambers after X-ray scanning at Level 3/Level 5. By using a MECVA chamber there a reduced need to close a terminal after a baggage piece has been identified as dangerous. If the baggage piece is placed into the chamber and the chamber is closed the unit can be transported out from the airport with minimum interruption.
The MECV´s design is made in a modular way in order to meet different demands in respect to
mobility, loading volume and explosion containment capacity.
