The RD Series tacho driver is an eddy-current non-contact revolution detection
transducer.
It is usually difficult to measure accurately the speed of rotating machinery in the low
rotating region, but this transducer can measure any speed from zero upwards based
on its eddy-current design.
Main Functions
1. System configuration
Consists of sensor, extension cable and driver.
Available in system lengths of 5m and 9m to cover the total distance
between sensor and driver.
2. Measurement frequency band
DC to 15kHz (?3dB)
3. Sensor abnormal detect function
Any failure, such as sensor break or imperfect connections are detected,
then a burn-down voltage is output.
4. Environment
Extensive operating temperature range (?40 to +177°C).
Not affected by lubricating oil mist or dust. (Exclude connector)
Ammonia resistance and measures for hydrogen sulfide-protected
models are also available (for details, contact us).
(Not available for rain water at out door use)
