Heating/Cooling information : |
1. Cool down times are stated from ambient using 100% glycol or Lab Bath solution in a NE4-14D Stirred water bath.
2.Heat up times are stated from ambient 20°C.
3. It is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a SL lid.
4. All temperature measurements and performance claims have been carried out in ambient temperature 20°C and installed correctly with adequate ventilation.
5. Cool down and heat up times above are based on performance data recording change in bath liquid temperature.

Notes : |
1. The cooler runs continuously providing reliable and constant cooling capacity.
2. The coil diameter 65mm fitted on end of a 900mm long flexible cooling line.
3. Class leading Cooling Power: 10°C = 800W, 0°C = 580W, -10°C=400W, -20°C=250W.
4. Normal operating performance, working ambient temperature range 10°C > 25°C. Where ambient temperature range 25°C + this degrades cooling performance. For optimum cooling performance reduce the effect of high ambient temperatures.
5. Use with a minimum distance of 40cm of free air around ventilation slots. DO NOT obstruct. The Immersion Dip Cooler is air cooled with air from its surroundings sucked in at the front and warm air expelled out of the rear. To provide good air circulation and operating performance keep the ventilation slots free from obstruction.
6. To achieve optimum performance any NE4 Stirred or Circulating bath should always be covered with a SL Lid or BP0368 Polypropylene spheres at all times reducing upto 70% of the heat, from ambient room temperatures, transferring into the bath being cooled. By doubling this layer of polypropylene spheres or using a SL4 Lid and spheres improves this further upto 90%.
7. DO Not use with Unstirred water baths otherwise the cooling coil will freeze solid and cooling performance lost.
8. Keep out of direct sunlight, away from high ambient temperatures or direct heat sources.
9. Do not place it where there are corrosive fumes, excessive moisture or excessively dusty areas.
Features and Benefits : |
1. Competitively priced providing broad working temperature range from ambient to -20°C.
2. Cooler fitted with flexible hose and coil which can be easily immersed into water baths or other tanks, allowing these to operate at or below room temperature.
3. An energy efficient cooling method using ozone friendly refrigerant.
4. The design of the cooling coil and powerful compressor, even at low negative temperatures, ensures class leading performance.
5. Powder painted casework providing a long and durable life.
6. Non-slip feet.
7. IP rated main switch.
8. Completes a 100% leak and performance tests before leaving the factory here at Nickel-Electro. The performance test is conducted over 2 days, starting with an initial gas fill and cool down test with a NE4-8D Stirred water bath recording and verifying the time taken to reach 0°C, -15°C and -20°C ensuring it achieves specification. Repeated the next day.
9. Powder painted body providing a durable finish and protection against corrosion and now featuring “active anti-bacterial technology”. This paint finish actively inhibits bacterial growth improving hygiene requirements as demanded by many clinical and laboratory environments. Hygienic coatings are part of a controlled approach to cleaner facilities. The Clifton range has always featured easy to wipe clean smooth paint finishes that are resistant to routine and efficient disinfection’s, however this improved coating featuring ‘active anti-bacterial’ properties provides an extra layer of defence. This new anti-bacterial paint finish is effective against major strains of bacterium including E-coli and Staphylococcus aureus, resistant strain. Within its formulation an active ingredient is a proven anti-bacterial agent bound into the coating during application and curing to the product. The efficacy of the paint finish applied to the Clifton range is maintained over time, as the anti-bacterial agent is integral within the paint finish.
10. Each unit is uniquely identified with its own serial number recorded on our product database, which includes all of its manufacturing inspection data. Electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book. |
